Cattle are Good Folks

Sweet baby!

I wonder if Bambi lost his mama? There is teaching that all creation knows 'His' name. Cows are good folks...once I was bicycle riding up at the Winrock Farms and this scripture was on my mind. So I stopped where some of the Big cows were and I walked up near the fence and in all good humor, I spoke to them and said, "I KNOW you know HIM!" And one of the cows raised it's head and went, "Moooooo." It was so funny and at the same time was even inspirational.

I wonder if the cattle, camels, and little sheep in the stable felt the presence of God laying in that manger that belonged to them.  I wonder if they knew something was happening beyond their need for water and feed. Were they quiet in His presence...their body heat keeping him warm...the rich earthy smells of their presence part of the ambiance of the evening.

God loves all his creatures!
